About Empowher New York: we're a collaborative platform created to share stories, give voice and empower womxn who are determined to grow, despite the challenges they face in life.
Our mission is to create a safe environment, and open a dialogue to discuss topics such as self-esteem, self-acceptance, overcoming adversities, health, feminism, and everything related to personal growth.
The evening will include a panel discussion with some rockstar ladies, cocktails + light bites, and networking.

The event will be moderated by Ingrid Silva(Founder of EmpowHer New York) She's a professional ballerina. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she came to NYC in 2008 at the invitation of the Dance Theater Of Harlem, where she is now their principal dancer. She mentors young dancers, she believes in the importance and strength of representation for women to follow their dreams inside and outside of ballet.

Mia Davis is the Founder & CEO of tabú, a revitalized approach to sexual and mental health care. Prior to starting the company, Mia earned a BS with a focus in Product Design from Stanford University and pursued a career building out a CRM-powered community platform as a UX Designer at Salesforce. Due to her personal experiences with sexual trauma and pelvic pain, she was inspired to apply her design background to create meaningful, approachable tools to empower people to take care of the more "tabú" aspects of their overall wellbeing. Mia is constantly thinking of new ways to democratize comprehensive sex, relationship, and mental health education for the masses and make it easier for all of us to advocate for ourselves in the bedroom and beyond!
Emily Sauer is a spritely entrepreneur who has always been passionate about creating catalysts that spark human connection. While developing Ohnut (an intimate wearable designed to help women and couples who experience deep dyspareunia) she co-founded the Lady Bits League and co-launched the Sexual Wellness Summit, to connect people and professionals from all over the sexual health world, through education and story. Emily has redefined her life as a proud entrepreneur, maker, community leader, and sexual health advocate.
Cameron Gloveris a writer, sex educator, and podcaster. Author of the Becoming a Sexuality Professional digital guidebook, Cameron specializes in helping sexuality professionals create and grow thriving online businesses. When she's not writing, Cameron also hosts the Sex Ed in Color podcast, which creates conversation around sexuality by centering sexuality professionals of color. Alexandra Fineis a lifelong student of sexual health. She’s the co-founder and CEO of Dame Products, a credentialed sexologist, and a member of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 2018. She co-founded Dame Products to start necessary conversations, to listen rather than assume, and to create products that enhance intimacy.
