What is TEDxDrewUniversity?

TEDxDrewUniversity welcomes people from a broad range of disciplines to share ideas worth spreading. We believe passionately in the power of these ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. We hope to provide students and attendees with a forum for fostering curiosity, excitement, and conversations that matter.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxDrewUniversity, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxDrewUniversity event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

SOLVE FOR X

We are a generation of bright thinkers, solvers, and innovators. We are scientists, artists, engineers, and entrepreneurs constantly seeking answers to our everyday questions, eager to make a change in this world.

This year at TEDxDrewUniversity, we want to find and create solutions. As we welcome the new decade, we’re determined to search for ideas that could become solutions. We want to identify the path less taken and delve deep into the issues and problems that arise in our current climate. From major world affairs like global climate change to issues that exist in individual communities to personal struggles, no matter how big or small, we are certain that there is almost always a solution to be found.
